A UK- based Ghanaian and an NDC organizer says Ghana’s image on the world market is no longer a peaceful and accepted country as it used to be.
Currently Ghanaians in UK are being tortured since the NPP came to power, due to the bad way President Akufo Adoo is managing the state.
According to Mr. Yaw Afriyie, some years back when good governance was in place, Ghanaiansin the UK were highly respected and accepted by the whites but it is swayed now.
‘Currently if a white man asks you which part of Africa you coming from and you mention Ghana, the reaction as compared to previous is totally different’.
He said the whites accepted Ghana as a peaceful country but now the picture has changed due to current brutalities in our various activities.
The Ayawaso West Wuogon brutalities, voter’s registration wahala, Western Togoland disputes, land and chieftaincy fights, murder amongst others.
He added that it has been confirmed thatthe European Union has now cancelled all contracts and connections they had with Ghana after a government official from Ghana had smuggled a 26million pounds from Ghana to the UK.
“This has even affected our financial status I mean we the Ghanaians here’
