Ghana Coach Otto Addo Demands Perfection Ahead of Madagascar Clash
Ghana’s head coach, Otto Addo, has emphasized the need for perfection and focus as the Black Stars prepare to face Madagascar in their 2026 World Cup qualifier tonight at the Al Hoceima Grand Stadium.
Following a resounding 5-0 victory over Chad on Friday in Accra, Addo urged his team to maintain their intensity and focus on securing another crucial win. “Everybody’s excited about our last win, but we still have a long way to go. We need everyone to be on their toes,” he told the GFA media.
Addo acknowledged that the match against Madagascar will be a tough challenge, but stressed that nothing less than 100% effort will suffice. “We don’t need 98%, we don’t need 99%. We need 100%. This is like a small final, and if we win this game, we’ll be in a strong position to qualify.”
