GHALCA Concludes Successful 3-Day Consultative Meeting with Members in Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions
The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has successfully concluded a 3-day consultative meeting with its members in the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions.
The meeting, which took place from March 27-29 2025, aimed to engage with stakeholders, discuss pressing issues, and strengthen relationships between GHALCA and its member clubs.
A team from GHALCA, comprising Chairman John Kofi Ansah, Vice Chairperson Phyllis Marku Moncar, Treasurer Patrick Martey Boye, and EXCO Member Eric Opoku, met with stakeholders from various clubs in the regions.
The team had fruitful discussions with representatives from:
– Techiman Eleven Wonders FC
– Techiman Heroes
– Techiman Liberty
– Dormaa Unity Club
– Aduana FC
– Berekum Chelsea
– Bechem United
– Wamanafo Mighty Royals
– Ampem Darkoa Ladies
– Fosu Royal Ladies
– Prisons Ladies
– KAC Academy
The consultative meeting provided a platform for GHALCA to listen to the concerns and challenges faced by its member clubs. The discussions centered around various issues affecting the clubs and the association, including:
– Club licensing and compliance
– Financial sustainability and resource management
– Youth development and grassroots football
– Marketing and sponsorship opportunities
GHALCA has pledged to address the concerns raised during the meeting and work collaboratively with its member clubs to find solutions.
The association will also provide support and resources to help clubs overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.
