GFA President Kurt Okraku Meets with Intercity STC Leadership

Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), held a productive meeting with the leadership of the Intercity State Transport Corporation (STC) at their headquarters in Accra on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

The meeting aimed to review and enhance the partnership between the two organizations, established in 2020.

 

The partnership has been instrumental in supporting referees across GFA’s flagship competitions, offering a 50% discount on transportation for four seasons.

This has eased their travel burden, ensuring safe and reliable movement nationwide. Intercity STC’s well-equipped coaches, featuring reliable Wi-Fi connectivity, have enabled referees to travel comfortably.

 

Discussions between the GFA and Intercity STC focused on improving collaboration, efficiency, affordability, and service delivery.

Both parties explored opportunities to further enhance their partnership, ensuring it remains mutually beneficial. The meeting was attended by key officials from both organizations, including.

Kurt Okraku has been the President of the Ghana Football Association since October 2019.
