GFA President Kurt Okraku accompanied Vice-President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on a working visit to the Sports Ministry on January 22, 2026.

VP Opoku-Agyemang commended the Ministry and sports industry stakeholders for promoting sports growth, reaffirming government commitment to the sector. She pledged support for timely resource allocation to enhance efficiency and execution of sports programs.
Okraku, Sports Minister Kofi Adams, and Chief Director Wilhelmina Asamoah were part of the high-level delegation, highlighting government-sports body collaboration. Minister Adams presented a national team jersey to VP Opoku-Agyemang, symbolizing unity and government support for Ghanaian sports.
The visit reinforced cooperation to drive sustainable sports growth in Ghana.
