The President of Ghana Football Association Kurt Simeon Okraku has revealed the Executive Council’s intention to introduce Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
GFA President Kurt Okraku made this revelation over the weekend when they met the press at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani and emphasized that this move aims to enhance the accuracy of refereeing decisions and improve the overall integrity of the league.
GFA President pledged that the Executive council will do what ever it takes to embark on this adventure and the implementation of VAR is expected to minimize controversial decisions of our referees , ensuring fairer outcomes in matches and improving the credibility of the GPL in the coming seasons.
