GFA Invests $100,000 in Colts Football

Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has announced a $100,000 investment in Colts football to boost grassroots development in the country.

The funding, part of the FIFA Forward Program, will support Colts teams across Ghana by providing essential needs, including footballs.

The initiative aims to nurture young talents and create a more inclusive football structure.

“We’ve decided to invest $100,000 in Colts football to supply footballs and provide essential support,” President Okraku said.

The GFA will also invest another $100,000 in the second, third, and women’s leagues to bolster club operations and enhance competitive balance.

This initiative is part of the GFA’s broader plan to ensure sustainable development across the football pyramid.

The investment comes as part of the current administration’s efforts to revive Colts football, a vital component of Ghana’s football pipeline.

The GFA’s commitment to grassroots development is expected to have a positive impact on the country’s football landscape.
