GES launches Season four of the Schools’ Sanitation Inspection Tour
The deputy minister in charge of TVET, Hon. Barbara Ayisi Asher attended the launch of Season four of the Schools’ Sanitation Inspection Tour by ONE on ONE Foundation at the Golden Tulip hotel in Accra.
Personal Hygiene and Environmental Sanitation forms part of the curriculum of the Ghana Education Service and are essential ingredients in education of pupils and students in both Basic and Senior High Schools and that’s why the ministry of Education is always happy to collaborate with senior management of schools to ensure that the tours are effective.
The deputy minister in her speech said, “The responsibility in educating our children on sanitation and showing them the way cannot be only on government, which is why initiatives such as this Schools Inspection Inspections Tour are most welcome. As stakeholders for a healthy citizenry and clean surroundings, we share the burden in realising a clean country.”
