Coalition of Private Transport Operators hinted on a strike action to register their concern about the fuel hikes in the country
The intended strike was to commence today 29th November, 2021 across the country
The coalition made their demand during a press conference in Accra on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 to express their frustrations caused by the effect of high taxes on petroleum products
Speaking to Mr Eric Asirifi, the branch chairman for Taifa-Burkina and the national communication member for GPRTU, they met with the sector ministers for transport and energy who assured them of fuel reduction by Tuesday, 30th November
However, he stated if the government fail on their promise, they will have no more than stick their earlier decision of going for strike
