Frimpong Manso Advice to Benjamin Asare how he can cement his position in Black Stars

Former Ghana international Frimpong Manso believes Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare can cement his place in the Black Stars team by continuing to believe in himself and excel in upcoming tournaments.

Asare has impressed since earning his maiden call-up in March.

Asare recorded clean sheets in Ghana’s 5-0 win over Chad and 3-0 win over Madagascar, helping the team top Group I with 15 points.

With Otto Addo confirming Asare as the first-choice goalkeeper, Manso urges him to maintain his form.

“Asare needs to show much confidence in the four-nation tournament in May,” Manso said.

“This will make him feel established and cement his position as Black Stars’ number one goalie.” Asare is expected to feature in the 2025 Unity Cup in England.
