Forgive Bishop Salifu, Rev Obofour, who is on his knees begging Ghanaians

The leader and founder of Anointed Palace Church, Rev. Obofour, has expressed his thoughts on the recent tragic accident involving Bishop Salifu Amoako’s son and the unfortunate loss of two young girls.

During a service, Rev. Obofour appealed to Ghanaians to show forgiveness towards Bishop Salifu’s son for his involvement in the incident. He stated that he empathizes with the families of the victims and sincerely wishes that the tragedy had never taken place.

Additionally, he called upon other religious leaders to join him in seeking forgiveness for Bishop Salifu’s family. In a separate development, the police have confirmed the arrests of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako and his wife, Mouha Amoako, in connection with the actions of their son, Elrad.

This follows a collision involving Elrad’s Jaguar SUV and a 4×4 Acura vehicle, resulting in the tragic loss of two lives and leaving others critically injured.

Despite the widespread attention and public interest in the court proceedings, Bishop Salifu Amoako, his wife Mouha Amoako, and a sales assistant, Linda Bonsu Prempeh, have been granted bail after their arrests in connection with the East Legon accident on Saturday, 12 October 2024.

The Accra Circuit Court has granted them GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties each. The three individuals have been charged with “permitting an unlicensed person to drive” and have pleaded not guilty during their court appearance on 16 October.

The police have confirmed their arrest in relation to the crash that tragically claimed the lives of two young girls.
