Foundation of Concerned Arts Professionals FOCAP have expressed their total disappointment in the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Hon. Andrew Egyapa Mercer for failing to honour his promise of correcting the ILLEGALITIES at the Creative Arts Agency.
On the 29th of September 2024 FOCAP at the request of the Minister called off their intended Picketing at the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture to rather have a meeting with him.
At the said meeting the minister promised to ensure that the Board and Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Agency is legally constituted according to Act 1048 by the end of October.
We are in November and nothing has been done according to the agreement reached and several calls to the ministry have proved futile.
FOCAP will announce the next line of action very soon since the industry must be governed Legally and not ILLEGALLY.
