The Black Maidens of Ghana will play Moroccan U-17 female team in their fourth round leg of the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup India 2022 qualifiers.
Ghana after beating Guinea in both legs of the third round secured qualification to the fourth round of the qualifiers. On Saturday at the Cape Coast Stadium, the Black Maidens walloped Guinea female junior team following a heavy 7-0 victory.
Goals from Constant Agyemang(brace), Dejean Kubura, Nancy Amoh(brace), Georgina Ayisha and Mary Amponsah ensured Ghana complete 10-1 aggregate from both legs.
Coach Baba Nuhu’s side netted three goals having possessed and created clever goal scoring opportunities. Three goals in the first half coupled with discipline and better performance in the second department, four goals sealed Ghana through to face Morocco.
Ghana’s counterparts Morocco thrashed Niger 18-0 in both legs to book stage to face the Black Maidens.
The team will face Morocco in the fourth round and final qualifying round.
