Excitement for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ continues to surge as FIFA announced that nearly two million tickets have already been sold across the first two phases of sales.
Fans from more than 200 countries and territories around the globe have eagerly snapped up inventory during the Early Ticket Draw, demonstrating the unprecedented global appeal of the first 48-team World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Starting on 11 December 2025, the third phase of ticket sales—the Random Selection Draw—will officially open to the public. Fans will have a five-week window to submit their applications, beginning at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET) on 11 December and closing at the same time on 13 January 2026.
Unlike previous phases that focused primarily on team-specific ticket series and venue packages, this upcoming phase represents a major milestone: for the first time, supporters will be able to apply for individual match tickets tied to specific group-stage fixtures, complete with exact dates, venues, and confirmed team match-ups.
This new level of precision is made possible by the upcoming Final Draw, scheduled for 5 December 2025. Once the draw is complete and the full match schedule is published shortly afterward, fans worldwide will finally know which teams will face off in each group-stage encounter across the 16 host cities in North America.
Whether you’re hoping to see your national team in action or simply want to experience the electric atmosphere of the world’s biggest sporting event, the Random Selection Draw offers the clearest opportunity yet to secure your seat at the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
