Ghanaian international Augustine Okrah has emerged victorious in a financial dispute against former employers Young Africans (YANGA) following the ruling by the Federation International Football Association (FIFA)
The FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber has ruled in favour of Ghanaian attacker, Augustine Okrah ordering Young Africans SC (Yanga SC) to pay $24,400 in outstanding remuneration owed to the player.
This decision stems from a payment dispute during Okrah’s time at the Tanzanian club.
Along with the order to pay Okrah, Yanga was fined USD 3,000 by FIFA, which must be paid within 30 days.
If Yanga fails to comply with the ruling within 45 days, they risk further sanctions, including a ban on registering new players for up to three transfer windows.
