FC Koln Signs German-Ghanaian Striker Ragnar Ache

FC Koln has strengthened their attack with the signing of German-Ghanaian striker Ragnar Ache from FC Kaiserslautern.

The 26-year-old forward has agreed to a four-year contract that will keep him at the club until June 2029.

Ache, born in Frankfurt, began his youth career at Sparta Rotterdam in the Netherlands, where he later made his professional debut. He scored seven goals in 39 appearances before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Ache has also played for Greuther Furth on loan and Kaiserslautern, where he scored 41 goals in 88 appearances in Germany’s second tier.

Despite limited top-flight experience, Ache brings power, pace, and a keen eye for goal to FC Koln’s forward line. He has scored just one goal in 20 Bundesliga matches but has shown impressive form in the lower divisions.

Ache’s international experience includes being part of Germany’s squad at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

FC Koln returns to the top-flight after a year in the 2. Bundesliga, and the signing of Ache is expected to bolster their attack.

With his skills and experience, Ache is poised to make an impact for FC Koln in the coming seasons.
