The Greater Accra women’s division one league champions Faith ladies booked placed in the Ghana women’s premier league next season.
The champions secured qualification to the premier league by winning 4 in 5 matches in the just ended women’s division one middle league.
Faith ladies won their first game against the Central Regional champions Essiam Socrates who also gain promotion to the premier league by scoring them 3-0 , followed it up by 5-0 win against Anlo ladies the Volta region champions and then beat one of the favourite contenders valued girls the eastern region champions by 5 -1,Faith ladies lost 1-0 to Army ladies and then beat the western champions Basake holy royal ladies 5-1.
The dansoman base club has the best attacking duo in the just ended league , Jennifer kankam Yeboah who has been in a filler form since day one of the greater Accra women’s division one league, she made a beautiful impact in the women’s division one middle league by netting 8 goals in 4 games.
Faith ladies club president Mr. Kwashie Sowah said, He thanked everybody for the support , he said faith ladies have struggled alot before securing the promotion to the premier league.He said, the ladies did very well and they are good because of the way they train them but going into the premier league they will do some few signings to build the team well .
Fàith ladies the champions Of the regional women’s zonal championship qualify to the premier league by taking over the middle league table with 12points + 17 goals.
