Ghana international defender Alidu Seidu has reportedly not trained with French Ligue 1 side Rennes in recent days as he pushes towards a potential move away from the club.
Seidu is attracting strong interest from fellow Ligue 1 outfit Marseille, who have already submitted an offer for the versatile Ghanaian defender.
However, Rennes are understood to be demanding a higher fee for the 26-year-old, with the two clubs currently unable to reach an agreement.
Talks between Rennes and Marseille have reached a standstill for now, although negotiations could resume as both parties seek to find a compromise.
Seidu’s absence from recent training sessions comes amid growing uncertainty over his future, with the player keen on making a move if an agreement can be reached between the clubs.
Marseille remain interested in securing his services, but Rennes’ valuation could prove decisive in determining whether the proposed transfer goes through.
