Erik Ten Hag: Is the new manager the right man for Manchester United ?

Erik Ten Hag is a professional football manager born on February 2,1970 (52 years),from Haaksberger in Netherland. He managed clubs like Go Ahead Eagles, Bayern Munich and FC Utrecht before taking  up the reins at Eredivisie side Ajax in December 2017. He has recorded a 73.81 win with the Dutch club. 

During his four years stay at Ajax, he managed 210 games, winning 155 with a total goal difference of +397.Erik Ten Hag has  won five trophies with Ajax and that includes two Dutch championship, two Dutch cup and one Super cup.

In 2019, Ten Hag came forth in the FIFA men’s coach as individual awards. The former centre back also won the Rinus Michael awards in 2016 and 2019.

The Dutch man has cemented the use of 4-2-1-3 formation that can also be referred to as 4-3-3 with two defensive midfielders. 

Erik ten hag will be the next manager  to replace interim Ralf Rangnick in the summer  at Manchester United.Manchester United currently lie 6th position on the league table with 56 points  behind Arsenal and Tottenham. 

Their season has been awful and shambolic. The only consistent thing about them is inconsistency. 

So the big question , will Erik Ten Hag be the saviour of Manchester United?Your guess is as good as mine.
