Ebo Noah Arrested After Failed Doomsday Prophecy

Self-styled Ghanaian prophet Ebo Noah, born Evans Eshun, has been arrested following his widely publicised claim that the world would end on Christmas Day 2025.

Ebo Noah gained national attention in 2025 after announcing what he described as a divine revelation of an impending global flood similar to the biblical story of Noah.

He urged followers to prepare for the catastrophe by gathering at wooden structures he referred to as modern-day arks, a move that quickly sparked public curiosity.

Videos of the ark project went viral across social media platforms, drawing crowds and intense debate both online and offline.

However, when December 25 passed without any catastrophic event, the prophecy failed, and Ebo Noah later claimed prayers and fasting had delayed the disaster.

Following growing public concern, the Ghana Police Service, alongside the Inspector General of Police’s Special Cyber Vetting Team, reportedly began monitoring his activities.

The Ghana Police Service has since confirmed his arrest as part of investigations into statements allegedly causing fear and panic, reigniting discussions about faith, accountability, and social media influence in Ghana.
