Eating hot food is critical- Nutritionist

A Dietician, Naa Nyarkoa Gyan- Mante has encouraged the eating of warm foods within this period of the corona virusinfection.

She said, the virus thrive better in a cold environment, and therefore, the consumption of warm food is a good recipe to reduce its spread.

In an interview on Ahotor news, Naa Nyakoa added that eating vegetables and fruit is also important as a means of building one’s immunity against infections

“Eating of three different kinds of fruits in a day will help the body fight against any infection”, she added.

Speaking on Ahotor news, Naa Nyarkoa said, the intake of too much  alcohol and soft drinks has its own side effect on the human body which is not the best.

She encourage that we avoid oily foods and practice the regular washing of our hands with soap under running water and use the natural species like the ginger, garlic and prekese in our foods when cooking at home to boost our human body to fight against any infection.

“Let avoid bush meat and any meat due to the source if the virus within this period”. She advised
