Some experts from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Koforidua Technical University today undertook feasibility studies to construct a bridge across the Akrusu river within the Upper Manya enclave in the Eastern Region.
This project is being financed by the Member of Parliament for Upper Manya Krobo constituency, Bismark Tetteh Nyarko from his share of the District Assembly Common Fund.
The experts today visited the site to take measurements of the proposed bridge. The next thing is to take seismic activity of the site before the drawings for the project to commence.
The Member of Parliament represented by the constituency chairman, Alhaji Moro Yakubu (Hankuri) and other executives members accompanied the team of experts to the project site.
The Dademantse of the Akrusu community and his elders expressed their joy and satisfaction towards the development and appreciated the Hon Tetteh Nyarko for the project.
