UK-Based Broadcaster Austine Woode Unimpressed with Dzifa Gomashie’s Vetting Performance
It seems the vetting session of Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, stirred up some drama—and UK-based Ghanaian broadcaster Austine Woode isn’t holding back his thoughts!
Appearing before the Appointments Committee on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, the Minister fielded a range of questions spanning culture, arts, and tourism. But Austine Woode wasn’t buying it.
Speaking to the media, he didn’t mince words about his dissatisfaction with some of her responses, particularly regarding the Creative Arts Fund. “I was surprised by how she answered the question,” he said, hinting at disappointment over what he believes was an underwhelming performance.
Looks like the vetting wasn’t just a test for Dzifa Gomashie—it’s got people talking in the creative arts space too!
