Their friendship deepened during the Jumah Mayali controversy, where Yalley’s niece was allegedly involved with Mr. Kwaw Nkansah Ackah at the State House. Dr. Aidoo and Yalley later reconnected when the former was working at the Flagstaff House as Director of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC).
