Dr. Tengol K. Kplemani Receives Ghana Tourism Authority Commendation After Continental Ambassador Appointment

The Founder of Sister Kingdom Network, Dr Tengol K. Kplemani, has received an official congratulatory message from the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) following his appointment as Ambassador for Africa by the Countrystyle Community Tourism Network (CCTN/Villages as Businesses), an appointment endorsed by the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism (IIPT).

In a letter signed by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Marketing and Special Duties, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, the Ghana Tourism Authority described Dr Kplemani’s appointment as a prestigious recognition of his unwavering commitment to promoting African culture, heritage, community tourism, and Pan-African collaboration.

The Authority praised Dr Kplemani for his remarkable contributions to cultural diplomacy, the creative industry, and sustainable tourism across Africa, noting that his new continental role presents an opportunity to complement Ghana’s efforts in promoting sustainable tourism and strengthening ties between Africa and the global African diaspora.

According to the GTA, Dr Kplemani’s leadership is expected to play a significant role in positioning Ghana and the African continent as leading destinations for authentic cultural and heritage tourism.

The Authority also expressed its readiness to collaborate with the Sister Kingdom Network founder on initiatives that promote community tourism and support the growth of Ghana’s creative economy,

in line with the country’s vision of using tourism as a catalyst for sustainable national development.

The Ghana Tourism Authority concluded by congratulating Dr Tengol K. Kplemani on the well-deserved honour and wished him success as he assumes his new responsibility as Ambassador for Africa.
