Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the immediate past National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), visited several constituencies in the Eastern Region to rally support for John Mahama, the NDC’s flagbearer, ahead of the 2024 elections.
As a member of the NDC’s campaign steering committee, his visit is a key part of the party’s strategy to secure victory.
In the Fanteakwa South Constituency, Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo discussed John Mahama’s 24-Hour Economy proposal, explaining its benefits to the electorate.
He assured residents that an NDC government would prioritize fixing local roads and urged them to vote for the party.
At Nkankama, Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo highlighted John Mahama’s plan to establish a Women’s Bank, assuring traders that a branch would be opened in their market to facilitate easier transactions.
He called on voters to support John Mahama and the NDC’s parliamentary candidates to reset the country’s course.
Former Ambassador to the UK, Victor Smith, who accompanied Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo, echoed his sentiments, urging Ghanaians to unite and reject the NPP for a brighter future under the NDC.
