Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe Urges Hearts of Oak Players to Emulate Benjamin Asare’s Humility
Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has called on the club’s players to emulate the humility of skipper Benjamin Asare. Asare’s impressive performances for the Black Stars earned him a car gift, which Dr. Tamakloe praised, highlighting Asare’s grounded nature despite his rising profile.
Dr. Tamakloe emphasized the importance of character, stating, “It’s not just about talent; character matters just as much.”
He noted that individual conduct reflects on the club, warning that negative actions could damage Hearts of Oak’s image.
Asare has been instrumental in Hearts of Oak’s success, keeping 14 clean sheets for the side.
He’s expected to lead the team against Accra Lions on May 25 and join the Black Stars for the upcoming four-nation tournament in the UK.
Dr. Tamakloe’s message serves as a reminder for players to maintain humility and professionalism, both on and off the field, to uphold the club’s reputation and achieve success.
