Dormaa-based Aduana FC have officially appointed experienced Ghanaian coach Samuel Boadu as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak, Medeama SC and Berekum Chelsea trainer has signed a deal with the Fire Club as the team prepares for a fresh challenge in the upcoming campaign.
Boadu arrives in Dormaa with an impressive coaching résumé, having enjoyed successful spells with some of Ghana’s top clubs. He is best remembered for his trophy-laden tenure at Hearts of Oak, where he guided the Phobians to both the Ghana Premier League title and the MTN FA Cup, establishing himself as one of the country’s most respected tacticians.
Aduana FC announced the appointment on Thursday, expressing confidence in Boadu’s ability to lead the club to greater success. Club officials believe his vast experience, winning mentality and knowledge of the domestic game make him the ideal candidate to steer the team forward.
The appointment signals Aduana’s ambition to compete strongly for honours in the 2026/27 season, with expectations high among supporters following the arrival of the accomplished coach.
Boadu will now begin preparations for the new campaign, focusing on strengthening the squad and implementing his philosophy as Aduana FC target a successful season in both domestic competitions.
The former Medeama and Berekum Chelsea coach becomes the latest high-profile managerial addition in the Ghana Premier League and will be eager to make an immediate impact at the Dormaa-based club.
