Hasaacas Ladies CEO Evelyn Nsiah-Asare is urging the Black Queens to stay focused ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Ghana, drawn with Cameroon, Mali, and Cape Verde, enters the tournament with confidence after a bronze medal finish at the 2024 WAFCON.
“It’s an exciting draw, but if you don’t take care, when you are playing a team who doesn’t know how to play, that is when you will suffer,” Nsiah-Asare told Citi Sports. “I believe the formation coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has been playing is good. They will go far.”
Ghana’s best WAFCON finishes are runner-up (1998, 2002, 2006). The Black Queens aim to claim their first continental title this time around.
