Rev. Obofour, the leader and founder of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), is advising young people not to succumb to pressure from the church to get married.
He warns that some churches are pressuring their youth to marry and even matching them with other church members, but he believes this is a bad practice.
According to Rev. Obofour, rushing into marriage because of church pressure can lead to serious problems, and the church may not be supportive if things go wrong.
He cautions the youth to carefully consider such a significant decision and not to be swayed by the church’s influence.
He emphasizes that marrying someone just because they are a church member is not a good enough reason, as it may not guarantee a successful marriage.
Rev. Obofour advises young people to look beyond appearances and see if the person they are considering truly lives by the values the church teaches.
