Diddy has been named as a key figure in the murder of Tupac Shakur, according to newly released legal documents. The music mogul’s name appears 47 times in transcripts from a police interview that have come to light.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who has been in prison since his arrest in September 2024, is facing serious new accusations, including claims that he offered “millions” for the killings of Tupac and Suge Knight, the head of Death Row Records.
The recent allegations stem from a secretly recorded interview in 2009 with Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is awaiting trial for Tupac’s murder. A complete transcript of Davis’s interview is included in a 180-page document submitted by prosecutors, containing damaging statements about Diddy’s alleged involvement.
During the covertly recorded session, Davis referred to Diddy as the “boss” and revealed that he oversaw three Southside Crips gangs responsible for the murder. When asked if Diddy played a role in the killings, Davis confirmed, saying, “Yeah.” He further stated that Diddy’s animosity towards Knight was so intense that he remarked, “Ah, s–t, I’ll give anything for that dude’s head.” According to Davis, Diddy was prepared to pay a hefty sum for the deaths of both Tupac and Knight.
Diddy has consistently denied any involvement in Shakur’s murder, dismissing the allegations as “completely ridiculous” and “pure fiction.” He has neither been named as a suspect nor charged in connection with Tupac’s murder by law enforcement.
This revelation comes on the heels of Diddy’s recent indictment in New York City on unrelated charges, including human trafficking and racketeering. Despite being in federal custody, he continues to reject all allegations against him.
