In a promotional clip shared on his social media pages, the multi-award-winning artist wrote,
“Legacy is not what you leave behind, but what you breathe into the future. 72 hours away! Thank you for the love & support.”
The 5ive album is shaping up to be a global affair, boasting a mix of Nigerian heavyweights and international stars. Local features include Omah Lay, Victony, Chike, and Odumodublvck. The latter two appear on the fan-favorite track Fund.
On the international front, Davido enlists American R&B star Chris Brown and three-time Grammy winner Victoria Monét. Latin pop sensation Becky G and French hitmakers Dadju and Tayc also bring their global flair to the project.
The Caribbean is well represented too, with Jamaican rising star YG Marley featured on Awuke—the album’s lead single—as well as Shenseea and 450.
South African sensation Musa Keys returns to collaborate with Davido after their Grammy-nominated hit Unavailable from Timeless.
