Data Link Institute Holds 12th Congregation
Data Link Institute, a private university college in the Tema Metropolis has held its 12th congregation for some students who successfully completed various academic programmes of study for the 2021 academic year.
Data Link Institute of Business and Technology (DLIBT)
which originated from Data Link Limited (DLL), a
charitable educational enterprise is a Private
University College committed to the delivery of a
holistic higher education that focuses on the physical,
social, spiritual and mental development of students and faculty through both practical and intellectual
preparation for good service to their communities.
Graduands at the ceremony which took place at the Tema Joint Church in Tema were awarded degree certificates in Business administration and other disciplines.
Established and accredited by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana in 2006, Data Link Institute was granted the right to operate as a higher educational Institute and has been officially inaugurated. The right gave DLIBT the opportunity to run programmes that will lead to the award of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
This we have done for the past ten (10) years. The day[1]to-day administration of the Institute is managed by the President, Vice President, Registrar, Librarian, Deans of Faculties and staff with a nine-member University Council as the governing body.
The Institute is affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, the second largest public University in Ghana.
To enhance its delivery of quality tertiary education, DLIBT has established partnerships with other universities in
number of foreign Universities.
The Institute aims at inculcating in each student a high sense of integrity, perseverance, adaptability, and initiative by providing students with opportunities, choices and support that will enable them to achieve their individual aspirations, to become leaders in their chosen fields and to positively impact on the society in which they live.
Data Link Institute of Business and Technology offers Certificate, Diploma, Degree and Postgraduate programmes and additionally serves as an accredited centre for a number of professional programmes.
President of the Institute, Professor Smile Dzisi in her address said the institution will be introducing new entrepreneurship programmes to help students in the job market.
She urged the graduating students to use the knowledge and skills acquired to find innovative solutions to societal problems; and also be worthy ambassadors of the institute by exhibiting high level of integrity and honesty in all their dealings.

Guest Speaker at the congregation who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications Dr Kenneth Ashigbey urged students to think outside the box in creating their own future to be able to survive.

Mrs Samuella Yaa Abraham who emerged as the best computer Science and Information systems, best female student and overall best student graduating student expressed happiness of winning the overall best student and urged fellow graduates to work hard wherever they get job to do.
