Danny Murphy Backs Mohammed Kudus for Liverpool

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has suggested Mohammed Kudus as a potential signing to strengthen the Reds’ attack.

Murphy believes Kudus, a West Ham United player, could be a versatile option to replace forwards linked with summer exits.

Murphy praised Kudus, saying, “Kudus is robust, skilful and can play as a ’10’ or on the left or right. He is super strong and got great pace.”

The 24-year-old Ghanaian international has impressed with his dynamic performances and adaptability.

Kudus has recorded four goals and two assists in 31 appearances for West Ham this season.

He has attracted attention from outside Europe, with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr reportedly preparing a €100 million bid.

Murphy’s comments come after Liverpool’s 2024-2025 Premier League title win under new manager Arne Slot.

The Dutch coach secured the trophy without major squad additions, but Murphy believes Kudus could be a valuable signing to boost Liverpool’s attack.
