Ghanaian referee Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea has been appointed to officiate the CAF Confederation Cup encounter between South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs and Egypt’s Al Masry SC.
Laryea, who recently featured prominently at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco—where he took charge of the high-profile semifinal between hosts Morocco and Nigeria—will lead an all-Ghanaian officiating team for the continental fixture.
He will be assisted by Roland Nii Dodoo Addy as Assistant Referee I and Paul Kodzo Atimaka as Assistant Referee II, while Charles Benle Bulu has been named Fourth Official.
Match supervision will be overseen by Dlamini Zide Gilbert, who will serve as Match Commissioner, with Onias Felix Tangawarima appointed as Referee Assessor.
Other officials for the match include Helvi Nuukongo Eliakim of Namibia as General Coordinator, Sinethemba Purity Mbatha of South Africa as Media Officer, Tengetile Patience Ndlandla of Eswatini as Security Officer, and Melissa Zage of South Africa as Broadcast Venue Manager.
The CAF Confederation Cup clash is scheduled to take place at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday, February 8, 2026, with kickoff set for 15:00 hours.
