The Mpraeso Circuit Court has remanded a washing bay attendant, Kwaku Siaw who allegedly killed his lover at Nkawkaw Krofoforom in the Eastern region.
The 24-year-old is alleged to have murdered the 18-year-old nursing mother, Adwoa Kutremor on Tuesday.
Siaw fled his home after committing the crime but was arrested the next day after he called his father to inform him that he was at Asante Akyem Juaso.
Appearing in court on Friday, he admitted to committing the crime, stating that he believed his lover was cheating on him.
In his statement to the Police, Siaw claimed the deceased was with the alleged lover a day before her death.
Kwaku Siaw is expected to reappear in court on September 4, 2024.
