Coronavirus: UK starts building mortuary for

The United Kingdom government is building a new morgue that takes into consideration the increasing corpse it has to deal with as the covid-19 takes its toll

The temporary mortuary which  is under construction on Wanstead Flats in Manor Park, East London, is near the City of London crematorium and cemetery, and a few miles away from patients who pass away.

Patients who lose thewir live due to the covid-19 are expected to be taken to the facility.

The new 4,000-bed NHS Nightingale Hospital is only a few miles away, and will serve as a holding place for the dead before burials and cremations can go ahead.

According to Mirror UK, the building work on the complex got underway yesterday, with the site set to be ready within a few weeks.
