Consider the European leagues fixtures when drawing the GPL fixtures – Sports Minister

The sports minister, Hon Mustapha Ussif has urged the Ghana Football Association to consider the European leagues fixtures when drawing the GPL fixtures for upcoming season.

Speaking ahead of the preparation towards the upcoming season, the sports expressed that one hindrance that prevent fan from going to the stadium to watch the local leagues is when the fixtures crushed with the European leagues especially EPL and a critical look should be considered.

“To Ghana Football Association, the organizers of the league, strive for fair and attractive competition that fans can be proud of we must be conscious of global competition from the top leagues like the English Premier League and avoid features clashes taking into consideration account of our climate and work schedule, we should aim to match time that are convenient and enjoyable to our football fans.”

The Ghana Football Association has released the fixtures of the upcoming season infirmity with the synchronised calendar.
