An Islamic scholar, Alhaji Saeed Jallo has said condom use, especially by the unmarried is Haram.’ Islam frawns upon it. ‘ He added.
Alhaji was speaking on the Ahotorfm morning show on Friday 10th February 2017 in reaction to an earlier suggestion by a church of Pentecost elder and counsellor, Elder Nii Armah Hammond, who had advocated that teenagers who could not control their libido should seek comfort in the use of condom to arm themselves against pregnancy and it’s associated complications.
It is recalled that following the Saturday 4th February 2017 edition of Mmabunu Mmbre on Ahotor Fm, which focused on teenage pregnancy it’s complications, the subject of condom use has become very typical nationwide.
The church h of Pentecost through its general secretary, Apostle Alexander Kumi Larbi, has condemned condom use among the unmarried.
Again the church of Pentecost youth workers international have equally issued an unequivocal condemnation of condom use among it’s unmarried congregation. Stating that sex outside marriage or before marriage is a sin before God.
