Coach Prosper Ogum calls for Unity and support among all Kotoko fans ahead of the new directions.

The newly appointed coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has appealled to all the loving fans to rally behind the club in the new directions.

Speaking at the courtesy call at the manhyia Palace , coach Prosper Ogum emphasized that all supporters should continue to support the club to elevate it to the heights of past glory and call for unity among them.

“I want everybody to come on board, let’s all try as much as possible to be united , the past is past, its gone let’s pick the lessons from the past and then screened the lessons that we picked from the past, which one’s we have to repeat and which ones we don’t have to repeat ,that is the only way we can achieve our aim, that is the only way we can take Kotoko to the days of the 82s and 83s where the Al -Hilal were no team in front of Kotoko. So please I’m pleading with everybody from near and far because in unity there is strength, and in unity there is mutual respect, the paramount thing is Kotoko.

Coach Ogum quit the club due to disagreement with the management led by Nana Yaw Amponsah.

Currently, Ogum is part of the interim management committee appointed by Otumfuo overseeing the day to day activities of the club in the absence of the board of directors and management.

Asante Kotoko are expected to begin pre-season at Beposo ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana Football season.
