Former Black Stars player Mohammed Polo has charged the Ghana Football Association to find solutions to Ghana football.
The inability of the various national teams to qualify for major tournaments has been a major talking point. What broke the Carmel’s back was the Black Stars missing out on the 2025 African Cup of Nations in Morocco. Factors ranging from coaching, lack of commitment from players have been identified as problems nonetheless Mohammed Polo believes the GFA must act quickly in finding solutions to the problems facing Ghana football.
Ghana legend, Mohammed Ahmed Polo: “I think recovery is very very important, we have to find out the reason why we could not qualify [for the 2025 AFCON]. This involves even the players themselves because we are doubting whether the coach [Otto Addo] would go or stay but it looks like he would stay.
We are all blaming the coach because he is in charge, we are all blaming the Ghana FA because they are in charge of football. The Ghana FA must find the reason why this has happened and find solutions to them”
The GFA has received several backlash amidst the poor performance of the Black Stars and the current state of Ghana football.
