Head coach of the Sudanes National Team James Kwasi Appiah has officially re-taken his seat as member of the executive council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA)
Coach Kwasi Appiah vacated his role as executive member following a directive by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). His role as Exco member at the GFA and as head coach of Sudan was conflicting due to Ghana’s match up against Sudan in the 2025 African Cup of Nation qualifier. Due to this, he was asked to temporarily vacate his role till 30th November, 2024.
Coach Kwasi Appiah’s return is still not welcomed by Sports enthusiast who believe he is not in a better position to contribute his quota to the committee due to time constraints.
Coach Kwasi Appiah qualified Sudan to the 2025 Nations Cup after finishing 2nd in group F.
