Coach Ibrahim Tanko Denies Reports of Kamaradini Mamudu’s Exit from Medeama SC
Medeama SC coach Ibrahim Tanko has denied reports that defender Kamaradini Mamudu is set to leave the club.
Mamudu has been instrumental in the team’s success this season, earning a call-up to the Black Stars squad.
Tanko praised Mamudu’s performances, highlighting his goal-scoring record despite playing as a defender.
He attributed Mamudu’s goals to his tactical role, which often sees him playing like a midfielder when Medeama has possession.
The coach stated that he is unaware of any interest from other clubs in Mamudu, describing him as a “pillar” of the team. Tanko emphasized the importance of teamwork over individual talent.
When asked about potential call-ups for other Medeama players, Tanko noted that he has a good relationship with the national team coaches and will speak positively about talented players like Prosper Boakye.
Mamudu will look to continue his impressive form when Medeama SC faces Karela United in the upcoming match.
