Justice Torkornoo noted that adequate resources are essential for the judiciary to manage cases effectively, particularly those involving conflicts that can escalate and disrupt social harmony.
She called for enhanced backing from both government and civil society, advocating for investments in judicial infrastructure, training, and technology to streamline processes and improve access to justice. Justice Torkornoo stressed that a well-resourced judiciary is fundamental not only for handling conflicts but also for upholding the rule of law and protecting citizens’ rights.
Additionally, she highlighted the importance of maintaining legal frameworks that ensure justice is accessible to all, especially in conflict-related cases.
