Charles Sagoe Jr Sets Sights on Arsenal Success
Ghanaian youngster Charles Sagoe Jr has revealed his ambition to become a regular first-team player for Arsenal.
The 20-year-old striker has faced challenges in establishing himself in the first team, having spent time on loan at Swansea and Shrewsbury Town since his debut in 2023.
Upon returning to Arsenal in January 2025, Sagoe Jr joined the U21 side, where he has scored a goal in four matches. He aims to contribute to the team’s success and make a strong case for more first-team opportunities.
Sagoe Jr’s goals for the season include helping the U21 team win silverware and making a deep playoff run. Long-term, he wants to establish himself as a key player, whether through loan or first-team experience, and showcase his skills.
“I want to establish myself… to get my name out there and show people what I can do,” Sagoe Jr said. His determination to score, assist, and improve his game will be crucial in his pursuit of success at Arsenal.
