The President of the Ghana Arm-Wrestling Federation speaks in an interview on how difficult it is for the institution to raise funds to support the athletes and keep them in good shape for competitions.
He attests to the fact that the institution spends huge amounts of money going into tournaments but getting these monies to support the team is very difficult they understand; that the sport has not gotten to its climax yet and they are ready to give their best for the sports and athletes in the games to exile in the sports and its related activities.
He urges Ghanaians to support the team and he also has absolute confidence in the team and believes they will offer the country medals and trophies in the coming future.
Charles Osei Asibey also said the team is doing well and if rated across Africa, Ghana would be one of the best arm-wrestling nations in Africa and they hope to earn a good position in the world also.
