Some players and management members of division one league club, Real Tamale United (RTU) were allegedly pelted with stones by supporters of Nsoatreman fc at Nsoatreman following their match day 6 game which ended 1-1 draw on Sunday 7th February 2021.
The alleged act by supporters of Nsoatreman resulted in some players and management members sustaining injuries and in pools of blood.
The cause of this unfortunate act is unknown to Ahotor FM sports although is highly condemnable, archaic, and gross indiscipline which must not be condoned in modern football and the FA has condemned all acts of indiscipline and has always advised stakeholders to stay away from improper behaviours at league centres.
Some fans at the venue have called on the GFA that investigations are conducted and for appropriate sanctions to be taken against this act of barbarism and hooliganism.
