Ghana international and Nottingham Forest forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, who represents the Black Queens, has earned a nomination for the Barclays Women’s Super League 2 (WSL2) Goal of the Month award for December 2025.

The nomination stems from her stunning opening goal in Nottingham Forest’s 3-1 victory over Sunderland on December 7, 2025, at the City Ground.
Described as a brilliant individual effort, Boye-Hlorkah majestically controlled a pass with her chest, evaded two defenders, and fired a precise shot into the net, helping her team climb to fourth in the league standings.
She also scored a second goal in that match, sealing the win late on. Having joined Forest in the summer of 2025 from London City Lionesses, the 30-year-old has contributed four goals this season and is in strong form.
She faces stiff competition from other standout strikes by Georgie Freeland (Portsmouth), Shanade Hopcroft (Crystal Palace), Lexi Lloyd-Smith (Bristol City), Veatriki Sarri (Birmingham City), and Emily Syme (Bristol City).
Public voting for the award is open, with fans encouraged to support their favorites through official Barclays WSL channels. This recognition highlights Boye-Hlorkah’s impactful performances in the second tier of English women’s football as the season progresses.
