The Boston Celtics battled past a scrappy Toronto Raptors squad to secure a 111-101 victory, extending their strong run this season.
Despite facing a determined Raptors team, the Celtics maintained their composure, using a balanced offensive attack and solid defence to pull away late.
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the charge for Boston, delivering key buckets in the second half to keep Toronto at bay. The Raptors, fueled by Pascal Siakam and Scottie Barnes, kept the game competitive with aggressive play and relentless energy. However, Boston’s depth and execution down the stretch proved too much for Toronto to overcome.
With this win, the Celtics continue to solidify their standing atop the Eastern Conference, while the Raptors, despite the loss, showed plenty of fight in a hard-fought contest.
The Celtics will face the Detroit Pistons in Detroit in a back-to-back encounter
