Ghanaian singer and media personality Mzbel has finally spoken out about the long-standing rumors concerning the paternity of her son. Appearing on Max TV, the “16 Years” hitmaker set the record straight, shutting down speculation that the late musician Castro is the father of her child.
Mzbel, known for her bold and outspoken nature, did not mince words when addressing the issue. “I have heard this rumor for years, and I think it’s time to put an end to it. Castro is not the father of my son. People should stop spreading false stories,” she stated firmly.
The rumor first gained traction due to the close friendship and musical collaborations between Mzbel and Castro before his tragic disappearance in 2014. Many fans assumed their bond extended beyond music, fueling gossip that he fathered her child. However, Mzbel dismissed these claims, insisting that the speculation was baseless.
“I respected and cherished Castro as a friend and a brother. We made great music together, but that was it. People always want to create unnecessary drama, but I owe it to my son to clear the air,” she added.
Mzbel also revealed that she knows the father of her child but prefers to keep that part of her life private. “Not everyone’s business is for social media. My son knows his father, and that is what matters,” she said.
